Always ready to make your life more comfortable.

You hide the golden autumn in the swirling leaves
Leaving me to wonder if autumn itself has grown intoxicated
Yes it is not the wine you poured that brings this daze..

It is not that courtyard is strewn with sunlight,
But i feel a fondness that someone hung out to dry
It is not that the path is familiar with shifting shadows
Yet you walk, ever so slowly, through this life..

Because it is impossible to forget,
I understand the feelings of millions across this world
Who have loved someone more than they loved themselves!,,,

There are people who are nothing to each other,
Yet still feel the pain of seeing the other walk beside someone alse!
There are people who still care,…

I carry a sorrow that has no name
Like evening settling slowly over an old roof
Like a raindrop resting still on a lonely porch
Just falling…yet knowing not where..

you’ve waited for me for so long, haven’t you?
I’m sorry! For years, I searched and searched but couldn’t find you
Love just loves to play games with us like that..

I sit there in the violet twilight
Birds take filght, and falling leaves deepen the sorrow
The evening air rushes headlong into night
Leaving only silence-and I, sitting on alone..

In those days, every saturday afternoon
On my way home from school passing the church
i felt a tender fondness for that young girl
Softly she recited prayers, tracing the sign off the cross..

The wind tilts a corner of the Da Lat afternoon
The slope stands precarious, the rows of pines, precarious,
Houses have hastily closed their doors
Fearing the wind might tilt their haed-won happiness…

when love first began to bloom,
I plucked this flower and gave it to you
You held the blosson to your lips
Your lovely fingers tremblings with shy emotion…

There are sorrows one cannot share with any one
I have no choice but to keep it to myself and wait for time to bury it
Life out there is bustling every day…

You and I have never met
Each of us stands alone through the long night
Each cardling a solitary instrument
Cold strings whispering of sorrow…
